I need your help!

I love the Anthropologie Oroya Dress and am considering purchasing it, but I have no idea what to wear over it and I need your help readers... what color cardigan/sweater/blazer should I wear over this dress? Thanks in advance for your ideas and any links/pictures are appreciated! :)

  1. Ooh, I think there are a lot of shades in the dress you could accent easily with a cardigan -- my first instinct is mint green or forest green, but black, chocolate brown or even orange or yellow would also look great with this dress in my opinion. Go for it, you looked great in it in your review!

  2. My thought is a turquoise cardigan. or maybe a white blazer with 3/4 sleeves.

  5. I would match the sash and I like the suggestion about a white blazer.

  6. Tonal : A plain ivory that hits mid hip ( can even be belted using the dress sash.

Hi contrast : The light aqua ( same as the strokes on the dress) with some interest ( like a chiffon edge ( try Jcrew) ) . this one should be just below waist length.

Low Contrast: Deep espresso brown or light gray . Below waist length. You could even remove the sash & use a tan textured belt or one of the woven ones that emphasize the waist , pulling the colors of the dress.
I don't know your proportions , but this dress is forgiving & flattering to most figure flaws.
    Hope this helps

  7. I love this dress and saw it in person for the first time today. I'm definitely picking it up on sale, and I'm excited for you that you're going to have it in your closet soon.

As for suggestions, I was thinking this J Crew cardi in either natural or carob:

I like the turquoise idea, although I'm worried it would draw attention away from the pattern of the dress.

This cardi from Boden in the bright green is also a possibility:

  12. I purchased the Anthropologie TABITHA "From The Green Cardigan" on ebay, and love it with this dress. I know it seems like it would look strange together, but it looks great and I have received many compliments! No, I didn't pay $115+. I lucked out and won and new one for $69.
